The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hasselhoff drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hasselhoff stands and throws SIMPSON's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hasselhoff is putting a hurting on SIMPSON here, landing some big shots from side control.
Hasselhoff throws a strike aimed at the side of SIMPSON's head but SIMPSON avoids it well.
Hasselhoff is looking to take a break and control but SIMPSON is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hasselhoff tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Hasselhoff counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Hasselhoff content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because SIMPSON has locked up a guillotine! SIMPSON's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Hasselhoff is holding on here and SIMPSON must be using up a lot of energy. Hasselhoff has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! SIMPSON gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
