Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mario Molar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexis Arguello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexis Arguello has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arguello is pressed up against the cage. Molar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Arguello down to the mat. Arguello avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Arguello stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Molar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Arguello cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Arguello throws and low kick but Molar moves out of range easily.
