The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenda is trying hard to land a takedown here. Silva sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Jenda won't allow Silva to sweep him here.

Jenda drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jenda jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Silva shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Silva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jenda defends it well.
Silva wants to take a breather but Jenda is having none of it.
Jenda is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!

I really don't envy Silva right now.

Jenda is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Silva has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Jenda has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Silva taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Jenda doesn't care though - he's delighted!
