The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Utevich shoots in and bounces Georgy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Utevich decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Georgy, up you get!
Sprygin Georgy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Utevich counters with a nice double leg into side control. Georgy won't be happy with that.

Utevich decides to stand back up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Georgy stalks Utevich and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Utevich's face. Utevich staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Utevich has managed to clinch.

Utevich has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Georgy clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Georgy working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Utevich is doing well to defend. Georgy seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Utevich is forced to tap and this one is over!
