Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iron mke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fernandez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Marea - Perro verde. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fernandez rushes mke and presses him up against the ropes.
Fernandez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
mke is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
A nice right hand lands inside from Fernandez.
mke misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Nice body punch from mke.
mke tries to stall but Fernandez uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Fernandez is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

mke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
mke is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Fernandez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. mke tries to avoid it but Fernandez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag mke to the ground. mke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

mke thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Fernandez if he has to take too many more of those.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for mke. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
