Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hessu Hopo!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hopo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Slobovic napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Slobovic sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Slobovic has his foot on Hopo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hopo works his way back into a safe position though.

Slobovic is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hopo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hopo has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hopo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Slobovic was covering up waiting for the punch and Hopo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hopo postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Slobovic out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Hopo goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
