Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Fitzwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Melo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melo has chosen Who let the dogs out as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melo fails with the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Melo or perhaps it was just good defense by Fitzwell which made him look bad.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Melo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fitzwell as he avoids it easily.
Dick Fitzwell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Melo.
Melo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fitzwell avoids it really well and circles away.
Melo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fitzwell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fitzwell fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fitzwell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Victor Melo has been cut.
Melo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fitzwell misses with a body kick.
Fitzwell throws a head kick but Melo moves out of range.
Fitzwell goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Melo looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Melo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Melo blocks a head kick by Fitzwell .
Fitzwell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Melo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fitzwell did well to prevent Melo getting side control.
Fitzwell wants to get back to his feet.

Fitzwell makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Fitzwell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Melo.
Fitzwell tries to bum rush Melo with a series of wild strikes but Melo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fitzwell jabs Melo right on the nose. Melo blinks but takes it well.

Melo dodges the punch combination from Fitzwell .
Fitzwell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fitzwell lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Fitzwell .
Fitzwell clobbers Melo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

That has opened up Victor Melo's cut even more.
Fitzwell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fitzwell scores with a hook.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fitzwell lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The cut above Victor Melo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Dick Fitzwell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Melo.

Fitzwell cracks Melo with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Melo looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Fitzwell finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fitzwell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Victor Melo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
