Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between jack sparrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Pogu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, jack sparrow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Kimbo Pogu!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pogu is looking to clinch.
Pogu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pogu shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. sparrow defends it nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pogu is defended easily by sparrow.
jack sparrow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kimbo Pogu.
Pogu shoots in looking for a takedown. sparrow tries to sprawl out of it but Pogu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. sparrow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Pogu counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in sparrow's guard now.
sparrow could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
sparrow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pogu wants to pass the guard but sparrow is keeping the position.
Pogu is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Pogu tries to close the distance and clinch but sparrow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Pogu has gone for a leg lock! sparrow slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pogu's guard.
sparrow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pogu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pogu is in trouble now - sparrow has advanced to mount!

sparrow has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Pogu has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
