Chiba fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gailitis.

Gailitis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chiba avoids it really well and circles away.
Chiba lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gailitis will feel that in the morning.

Gailitis takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Chiba is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gailitis had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
