The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liriano throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Liriano leaves kurkela with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
kurkela chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Liriano can pounce on him.

Liriano fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
kurkela takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Liriano lands a nice looking kick to the body. kurkela takes a step back to recover.
Liriano uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Liriano lands a big uppercut and kurkela crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but kurkela looks OK. Liriano waves kurkela back to his feet!

Liriano drops kurkela with a straight left! Oh this is bad for kurkela! Liriano dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
