Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Corrleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George Peters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Corrleone!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peters shoots in and drives through. Corrleone sprawls well.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Peters accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Peters cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Peters jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Corrleone manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Peters cracks Corrleone with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Corrleone is trying to get back to half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Peters shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Peters was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Peters fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Corrleone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
