Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Smithsonian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matthew Kane will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Kane.
Kane looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kane takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Smithsonian dodges the punch combination from Kane.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Smithsonian misses the shot to the body.

Kane gets caught flat footed, as Smithsonian shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Smithsonian is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Smithsonian drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Smithsonian seems to have locked his on tight now - Kane screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Smithsonian, as he picks up the win!
