Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Crocop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manox Jamir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crocop comes to the cage accompanied by In da club. Jamir has chosen SCAR TISSUE as his entrance music. Mirko Crocop has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crocop missing with a left hand there. Jamir was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jamir moves out of range of the strikes.
A big right from Crocop misses.
Crocop tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jamir swivels and escapes.
Crocop throws a leg kick which misses Jamir's front leg but catches the back leg as Jamir tries to avoid it.
Jamir tries for a takedown but Crocop sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Crocop scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Crocop lands with a right hand.

Crocop drives through with a takedown into guard.

Crocop is really struggling to control Jamir but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Crocop not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Crocop wanted to stand there but Jamir had control of the position.
Jamir preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Crocop wants to control from the top but Jamir keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Jamir ducks under a wild hook from Crocop.
Jamir looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Crocop is fending him off so far but Jamir persists. Nope, Crocop circles away and we're back to standing.

Crocop looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jamir!
Crocop throwing strikes but Jamir uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Jamir avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Crocop.
Crocop is just content to waste time from the top position. Jamir takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Jamir is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Crocop is controlling him.

Crocop seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Crocop stops Jamir from standing up.
Jamir looks gassed!
Crocop throws a big right hand that misses.

Jamir has his feet on Crocop's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Crocop lands a nice looking kick to the body. Jamir takes a step back to recover.
Crocop misses with a head kick.
Jamir fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mirko Crocop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manox Jamir.

Crocop scores with a jab. Jamir acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jamir takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Crocop with a nice cross.

Jamir is rocked!

Crocop shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Crocop slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Crocop lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
