The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koslof throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Durrant shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Koslof manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Koslof throws a strike but Durrant rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Koslof is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Koslof is pressed up against the cage. Durrant has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Koslof down to the mat. Koslof avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Koslof is stalling here. Durrant is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Koslof seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Durrant has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Koslof is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Durrant is controlling him well.

Koslof is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Durrant is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Koslof's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Koslof's back!
Koslof controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Durrant is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Koslof has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Durrant has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Koslof taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Durrant doesn't care though - he's delighted!
