Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and gerard mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, gerard mousasi!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore shoots in for a takedown but mousasi shows good takedown defense.

Moore looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
mousasi is looking to improve his position.
mousasi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Moore working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Moore is nestled in close to mousasi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Moore prevents mousasi from improving his position.
mousasi gets full guard.
Moore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for mousasi on the ground.
Moore working some strikes from top position.

mousasi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moore doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moore manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
mousasi has momentary wrist control but Moore slips an elbow through the middle.

Moore is working mousasi over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Moore is in close to mousasi's body, working some short punches and elbows.

That's one minute gone in the round.
mousasi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Moore!
Moore trying desperately to get to his feet.
Moore wants to control but mousasi is having none of it.
mousasi wants to take his opponent's back but Moore doesn't allow it.

mousasi has hold of Moore's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Moore manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

mousasi working for a guillotine from mount but Moore is in no mood to give up.
mousasi wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
You get the feeling that Moore really doesn't like being in this position too much.
mousasi moves to back control.

Moore is trying to defend against the choke here but mousasi has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. mousasi Tightens the hold and Moore taps out furiously! mousasi displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
