Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between malu munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Sigic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Sigic is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, malu munoz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, James Sigic!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from munoz, right into the meat.
munoz showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sigic.
munoz misses with the combination.
Sigic slips a jab from munoz.
munoz scores with a kick to the body.
munoz swings for the body but Sigic moves out of range.
A chopping leg kick lands by munoz.
munoz throws a shot from downtown. Sigic moves away and avoids it.

munoz goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
munoz throws a right hand that Sigic ducks under and follows up with a left that Sigic also avoids with ease.

munoz connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Sigic to the floor! munoz dives in looking for the finish!


It looks like James Sigic has been cut.
munoz slows the pace down in half guard.
munoz is keen to just control but Sigic is a slippery customer.

munoz throwing shots but Sigic is blocking nicely.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
munoz throws a strike but Sigic avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

munoz looking to sit in guard and control but Sigic gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
This has been an exciting period of action!

munoz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sigic can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sigic wants to free his trapped foot but munoz is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Horrible takedown by Sigic or perhaps it was just good defense by munoz which made him look bad.

Sigic ducks under a wild hook from munoz.
munoz throws a nice outside leg kick.
munoz moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Sigic fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Sigic blocks a low kick nicely.
Sigic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Sigic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. munoz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
munoz stops Sigic from passing to mount.

Sigic working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Sigic pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Sigic breaks from munoz's wrist control and lands an elbow.
munoz is looking to get to half guard.
munoz wants to control but Sigic is having none of it.
Sigic has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Sigic goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now munoz is on top in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sigic is looking for a triangle here but munoz uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
munoz content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

James Sigic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think munoz has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
