The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luv looks for a takedown but De la Vega sprawls well.
Luv moves in looking to clinch but De la Vega pushes him off.
Luv throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around De la Vega's waist but De la Vega gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Luv off to one side.
De la Vega scores a takedown into full mount!
De la Vega is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Luv can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
De la Vega quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for De la Vega but it's paid off an Luv is forced to tap! Nice work by De la Vega.
