Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGann shoots in for a takedown but Yoshiyuzida shows good takedown defense.
McGann bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Yoshiyuzida tries to bench press McGann off him but McGann keeps the position.
Yoshiyuzida throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
A head kick misses from Yoshiyuzida.

and McGann counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Yoshiyuzida!

Yoshiyuzida tries to reverse the position but McGann maintains control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Yoshiyuzida is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

McGann lands a big elbow.

McGann avoids the attempt from Yoshiyuzida to control.
Yoshiyuzida is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
McGann in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Yoshiyuzida is looking to improve his position but McGann isn't that keen on the idea.
McGann breaks from Yoshiyuzida's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Yoshiyuzida regains half guard.
McGann looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Yoshiyuzida is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McGann scores with a couple of nice shots.

Yoshiyuzida is looking to get back to is feet but McGann passes into side control.

McGann tries for a kimura but Yoshiyuzida is defending well.
Yoshiyuzida is looking to reverse the position.
McGann lands a nice forearm strike.
Yoshiyuzida takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
McGann lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Yoshiyuzida down.
McGann has an Americana. Yoshiyuzida didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! McGann is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if McGann hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
