The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Reyes which made him look bad.
Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Reyes, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Reyes against the cage but Reyes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee.
Nick Reyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fast Lee.

Reyes shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Reyes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

No joy there for Lee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lee lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lee.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lee lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Reyes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Reyes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reyes but Reyes pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Reyes. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
