The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurskainen cracks Hippo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like King Hippo has been cut.

Hurskainen wants to clinch up but Hippo keeps it at a distance.

Let's hope that Hippo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hurskainen tries to lock up and control but Hippo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Hippo stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Hippo throws a right and a left that Hurskainen avoids nicely.
Hurskainen lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Hippo shoots for a takedown but Hurskainen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That has opened up King Hippo's cut even more.

Hurskainen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Hurskainen drops Hippo with a beautiful combination! Hippo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hurskainen is looking for the KO!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at King Hippo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
