Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kukulcan Ah Puch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ah Puch comes to the cage accompanied by Sick Puppies-Youre going down. Quid has chosen The Beatles - Come Together as his entrance music. Johnny Quid is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kukulcan Ah Puch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Quid!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ah Puch moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Ah Puch connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Quid's hands.
Quid ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Quid avoids a punch combination nicely.
Quid shoots in for a takedown but Ah Puch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ah Puch just misses with a punch to the body.
Quid shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ah Puch but Ah Puch pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Quid throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ah Puch's waist but Ah Puch gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quid off to one side.
Kukulcan Ah Puch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Quid.
Quid looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ah Puch is fending him off so far but Quid persists. Nope, Ah Puch circles away and we're back to standing.
Ah Puch swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ah Puch scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ah Puch tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Quid is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Ah Puch tries for a kimura but Quid is defending well.
Quid is looking to reverse the position.
Ah Puch wants to control but Quid is keeping him busy.

Ah Puch is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Quid has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ah Puch tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ah Puch is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Quid knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Quid is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ah Puch's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Ah Puch wants to work for an arm triangle but Quid is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Quid is staying active underneath Ah Puch, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Quid looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Quid is pressing down on Ah Puch's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Ah Puch works his foot free and advances to mount.

Ah Puch is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Quid is surviving well by controlling Ah Puch's body position as best he can.

Ah Puch moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Quid has worked his arm free - good work by Quid!
Quid is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ah Puch off and has taken his back!
Ah Puch rolls, trying to escape but Quid keeps control of the position.

Ah Puch defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Quid's arms.
Ah Puch breaks Quid's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Ah Puch trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Quid is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ah Puch defends well.
Ah Puch looking to sit in guard and control but Quid gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Quid postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ah Puch is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Quid, into his guard.

Quid working for a triangle but Ah Puch defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Quid looks gassed!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ah Puch's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kukulcan Ah Puch dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Ah Puch throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ah Puch throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ah Puch ducks under a wild hook from Quid.
Kukulcan Ah Puch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Quid on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ah Puch. Ah Puch obviously looking to wear him down.
Quid shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Quid takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Quid decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Ah Puch has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Quid. Oh but Ah Puch has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Quid goes limp - he's gone! Ah Puch jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
