PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lamar Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Scylla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scylla is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lewis is just riding it out for now. Scylla eventually gives up the hold.

Scylla is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Scylla is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lewis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Scylla.

Lewis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Scylla drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lewis pulls his leg out and moves away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
