Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Chalikiopolous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Arts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chalikiopolous swings for the body but Arts moves out of range.
Arts fails with a takedown attempt.

Arts closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Arts lands in his opponent's guard.
Chalikiopolous is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Arts is controlling him.

Chalikiopolous has his feet on Arts's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Arts has managed to clinch.
Arts has Chalikiopolous pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Chalikiopolous manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Chalikiopolous is trying to break the clinch but Arts is controlling him.
Arts can't get the takedown.

Arts changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Chalikiopolous fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Arts shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Arts lands a heavy elbow.

Chalikiopolous bucks Arts off and manages to get back to his feet!
A combination from Chalikiopolous does no damage.
Chalikiopolous catches Arts with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Arts shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Arts thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chalikiopolous's head.
Arts not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Chalikiopolous pushes Arts off and gets back to his feet.
Chalikiopolous stuffs the takedown attempt from Arts. Arts gets slowly back to his feet.
Arts drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Arts on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Peter Arts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arts takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Peter Arts has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Arts is defended easily by Chalikiopolous.
Stefan Chalikiopolous is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Arts shoots for a takedown but Chalikiopolous saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Chalikiopolous swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Arts throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chalikiopolous's waist but Chalikiopolous gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Arts off to one side.
Chalikiopolous misses with a wild combination.
Chalikiopolous tries to bum rush Arts with a series of wild strikes but Arts uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Chalikiopolous lands a right hook to the body.
Arts throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chalikiopolous's waist but Chalikiopolous gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Arts off to one side.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chalikiopolous, as that shot connected.

Arts is rocked!
Chalikiopolous lands an uppercut, right on the button! Arts tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
