The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toikka stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brand.
Toikka clinches up against the cage.
Brand jumps guard.
Brand looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Brand can't keep his opponent in guard - Toikka advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Toikka throws a strike but Brand avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Brand is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Brand manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Brand pulls Toikka into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Toikka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Toikka wants to control from the top but Brand keeps moving.
Brand pulls Toikka in close to prevent any damage.

Toikka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brand swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Toikka working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Brand looking for a sweep. Not yet Brand, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brand wants to stand but Toikka is controlling the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Toikka showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brand.
Brand looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Brand fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Toikka, pushing him back against the cage.
Brand pulls guard successfully.
Toikka won't allow Brand to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Toikka wants to stand but Brand is controlling his posture from full guard.
Brand pushes Toikka off and scrambles back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Morgan Brand dominated that round.
That's time! Toikka's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Toikka walks into a left hand.
Miika Toikka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Toikka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brand sprawls well. Brand wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Toikka gets slowly back to his feet.
No joy there for Brand, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Toikka tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Brand counters with a flying knee. Nice.
A bone on bone clash there as Brand blocks the leg kick.
Morgan Brand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters circling a little - Toikka finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Toikka throws a sloppy head kick
and Brand counters with a nice body kick.
Brand rushes Toikka and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Brand takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd are getting on Brand's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Morgan Brand.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Come on Brand - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Brand escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brand pushes Toikka away with a front kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Toikka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Toikka crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Brand - the referee stops the clock and Toikka gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Brand. Toikka manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Brand throws a head kick that misses
and Toikka counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Toikka is looking to advance position but Brand won't allow it.
Toikka throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Toikka prevents Brand from improving his position.
Toikka tries to pass to full mount but Brand defends it.
Toikka tries to stand and escape but Brand actually recovers to full guard.

Brand pushes Toikka off and scrambles back to his feet.
A nice leg kick lands there from Brand.
Brand thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Toikka if he has to take too many more of those.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Brand.
Brand goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Brand scores a takedown into full mount!
Brand lands with some strikes.

Toikka tries to hold on but Brand postures up.
Toikka is in all sorts of trouble here.
Brand looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Brand tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Toikka tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Brand with a couple of short strikes.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brand cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Toikka is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Toikka tries to lock up and control but Brand gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Morgan Brand showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Brand tries to close the distance and clinch but Toikka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Toikka lunges at Brand with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Brand's hand.
Toikka fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Brand defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Toikka.
Brand falls off balance throwing a combination
and Toikka counters with a single leg into guard. Brand didn't expect that.
Toikka trying to control the position from guard on top but Brand is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Toikka is looking to work some ground and pound but Brand has wrist control.
Brand has a closed guard, preventing Toikka from standing up.
Toikka prevents Brand from getting back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Brand keeping moving, preventing Toikka from controlling successfully.
Brand is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Toikka drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brand looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brand looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brand!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Toikka is looking to reverse the position.
Brand lands an elbow.
Toikka is trying to improve his position.

Brand has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Brand tries to bum rush Toikka with a series of wild strikes but Toikka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Brand shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Morgan Brand comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Brand has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
