Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denver Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Spat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Denver Bull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Spat!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bull shoots in and drives through. Spat sprawls well.
Bull wants to clinch.
Bull fails with a takedown attempt.
Bull fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Denver Bull. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bull shoots in looking for a takedown. Spat tries to sprawl out of it but Bull keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Spat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bull shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Spat wants to control from the top but Bull keeps moving.
Spat stays in close to Bull's body and controls the position.

Spat wants to stand but Bull has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Spat must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Spat tries to free his leg and advance position but Bull is retaining full guard.
Spat is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Spat is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bull is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bull has escaped and now he's on top!
Spat has a closed guard, preventing Bull from standing up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bull prevents Spat from getting back to his feet.
Bull wants to pass the guard but Spat is keeping the position.

Spat looking for a guillotine here but Bull defends easily.

Spat has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bull is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Spat.
Spat looks gassed!
Bull scores with a couple of short elbows.
You can see the frustration on Spat's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bull trying to control the action but Spat is working from the bottom.

Bull working the ground and pound from side control.
Spat is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bull off and has taken his back!
Bull trying to get back to his feet but Spat is in full control for now.
Bull rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Spat is thwarting Bull's attempts to control the position.
Bull tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Spat wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bull keeps working.
Bull missing with punches from the bottom.
Bull keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bull tries for a takedown but Spat circles away easily

and Spat counters with a single leg into guard. Bull didn't expect that.
Bull has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Bull wants to sweep here but Spat controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Spat dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Bull shoots and misses

and Spat counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Spat trying to control but Bull is working from the bottom.
Bull controlling the position.

Spat drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bull looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bull looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bull!
Spat tries to buck Bull off but Bull is having none of it.
Bull lands some shots froms side control.
Bull wants to control but Spat is keeping him busy.
Bull gets to mount! Spat was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Spat is breathing heavily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bull cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Spat really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Bull scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Spat?
Bull controlling his opponent.
Bull pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Bull is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Spat can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Spat really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Bull with good strikes from the mount here!
Bull postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Spat looks a forlorn figure.
Bull scoring with strikes but Spat is staying in there.

Spat defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bull.

Bull has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Spat's face.
Bull pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Spat is looking to get to half guard.

Bull is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Spat is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Spat flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bull anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Spat and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bull slips an arm under Spat chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bull has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bull is squeezing on Spat like an anaconda would it's prey. Spat fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Denver Bull!
