Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Armande (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Connely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Connely.

Armande shoots in and drives through. Connely sprawls well.
Dan Connely seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Armande lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Armande.
Connely shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Armande as he jumps to the side.

Horrible takedown by Armande or perhaps it was just good defense by Connely which made him look bad.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Armande is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Armande is not going to allow Connely to sit and survive in this position.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Connely scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Armande doesn't seem bothered though.
