Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thales Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonah Wasswa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasswa has chosen assassin muse as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wasswa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Left hook, right uppercut from Wasswa.
Moreno fails with the takedown.
Wasswa slaps away a takedown attempt from Moreno, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Wasswa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wasswa throws a hook but Moreno avoids it easily.
Wasswa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice jab there from Wasswa.
Moreno scores with a one two! Wasswa had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Wasswa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Moreno moves away.
Wasswa explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Moreno shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wasswa as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thales Moreno. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wasswa connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Moreno defending well as Wasswa loads up on a big left hand.
Wasswa throws a right and a left that Moreno avoids nicely.
Moreno avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Wasswa throws an overhand right that lands on Moreno's shoulder, as Moreno tries to avoid the shot.
Moreno lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wasswa circles away quickly and effectively.
Jonah Wasswa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wasswa rushes Moreno and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Moreno lands with a left to the head.
Moreno wants to stall.

Wasswa has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Moreno clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Wasswa is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Moreno defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Moreno turns into Wasswa and is now in his guard.

Moreno drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wasswa dives on top into guard.

Wasswa has gone for a leg lock! Moreno slips out almost immediately though and dives into Wasswa's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Moreno working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wasswa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wasswa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wasswa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Wasswa has hold of Moreno's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Moreno seems comfortable defending it but Wasswa has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Moreno is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Moreno is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Wasswa couldn't care less - he's delighted!
