Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fox Lao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beast Mode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lao's entrance music is Terminator T-800 Song. A fine choice. Mode is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: get up get down. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lao throws a right hand that Mode ducks under and follows up with a left that Mode also avoids with ease.
Lao slaps away a takedown attempt from Mode, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mode closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lao to the mat! Lao manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mode is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lao is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lao has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lao thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Mode escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lao gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mode looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mode keeping full guard, as Lao tries to pass.
Mode working for a triangle but Lao defends it easily.
Lao drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lao jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mode is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lao defends well.
Lao got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mode has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lao has managed to get both his arms back between Mode's legs - danger averted.
Mode is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lao is aware though and is defending well.

Mode gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Lao is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mode is surviving well by controlling Lao's body position as best he can.
Lao will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lao looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Lao is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Mode has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Lao is working for a guillotine from mount but Mode frees his head quite easily.
Mode regains half guard.
Mode has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Lao. Oh but Mode has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Lao goes limp - he's gone! Mode jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
