The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McSweedy wants to clinch up but The Boss keeps it at a distance.
McSweedy thows a body shot but no joy.

McSweedy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The Boss pushes McSweedy off and scrambles back to his feet.

The Boss closes the distance and pushes McSweedy back into the cage.
McSweedy is looking to break free of the clinch but The Boss has double underhooks.
McSweedy goes for a takedown attempt but The Boss pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
The Boss dodges the punch combination from McSweedy.
McSweedy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Boss avoids it really well and circles away.

McSweedy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says The Boss as he avoids it easily.
Ross The Boss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James McSweedy.
The Boss blocks the body kick.
The Boss swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McSweedy.
The Boss scores with a shot to the body.
The Boss scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
No joy there for The Boss, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McSweedy closes this distance looking for a takedown but The Boss circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McSweedy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with The Boss but The Boss pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McSweedy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The Boss stalks McSweedy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McSweedy's face. McSweedy staggers backwards, shaken.

McSweedy keeps control of The Boss as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
The Boss keeps the fight in the clinch, despite McSweedy's efforts to push away.

enabling The Boss to counter with a crisp jab.
McSweedy is still on wobbly legs! Can The Boss finish him?

and The Boss counters with a crisp right that sends McSweedy to the canvas! The Boss follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
