Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Abodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Risto Jaloviina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaloviina has chosen UNKLE - Reign as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abodo slips a straight right by Jaloviina.
Abodo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jaloviina defends it nicely.
Risto Jaloviina seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abodo wants to clinch.

Abodo gets a clinch.
Abodo tries to land knees in the clinch but Jaloviina avoids the damage to the body.
A short body shot lands from Abodo as the two fighters clinch.
Abodo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jaloviina blocks it with crossed arms.

Abodo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jaloviina fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Abodo is out of range.
Abodo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Abodo moves away from the strike by Jaloviina.
Jaloviina lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jaloviina.
Jaloviina throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jaloviina dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Abodo. That did some damage!
Jaloviina slips under a jab from Abodo.
Jaloviina misses with a kick to the body.
Jaloviina misses with a straight left.
Risto Jaloviina is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Abodo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jaloviina circles away quickly and effectively.
Abodo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jaloviina's waist but Jaloviina gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Abodo off to one side.
Jaloviina throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jaloviina moves into range and connects with a jab.
Abodo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jaloviina lands a jab to Abodo's midsection.
Jaloviina misses with a low kick.

Abodo has Jaloviina up against the cage in a clinch.

Jaloviina throws a hook but Abodo avoids it easily.

Jaloviina is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Abodo blocks a low kick nicely.
Jaloviina misses with a low kick.
Jaloviina ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Abodo moves away.
Abodo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jaloviina paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Abodo moves into range and clinches up with Jaloviina.
Abodo with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Jaloviina breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jaloviina misses with a body punch
and Abodo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jaloviina swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Abodo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jaloviina misses with a wild combination.

and Abodo counters by moving into the clinch.
Jaloviina lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Jaloviina is trying to stall.
Jaloviina lands a body shot.
A short uppercut from Jaloviina.
Jaloviina is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Abodo is defending well for now.
Jaloviina lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Abodo backwards.
Jaloviina works on Abodo's body with a couple of short punches.

Jaloviina breaks the clinch.
Jaloviina dips to his left and cracks Abodo with an uppercut!
Jaloviina connects with a solid leg kick.
Jaloviina thows a body kick. Abodo tries to catch it but that hurt him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jaloviina throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Abodo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jaloviina scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jaloviina misses with a looping left.
Jaloviina misses with an uppercut. Abodo saw that one coming.

Jaloviina drops Abodo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Abodo looks back up at him and smiles so Jaloviina waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jaloviina walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Abodo drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Jaloviina swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Abodo's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Risto Jaloviina!
