PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dr Dre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Argo Gulskii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dre comes to the cage accompanied by Chin Check. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gulskii takes the fight into the clinch.
Gulskii is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dre pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Dre lands a hook that snaps the head of Gulskii backwards.

Dre gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Dre loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Dre has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gulskii swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dre darts in and clinches Gulskii up against the cage.

Dre looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gulskii with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Dre works his way into side control.
Gulskii tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Gulskii wants to get back to his feet but Dre drags him back down.
Gulskii is trying to control Dre's posture but Dre avoids it.
Gulskii pushes Dre away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dre gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Gulskii is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Gulskii escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dre gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dre loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Dre postures up.
Dre content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Dre chips away with some ground and pound.
Dre prevents Gulskii from getting back to his feet.
Gulskii wants to sweep here but Dre controlling him for the moment.

Gulskii throws a nice elbow from the bottom.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gulskii is on top in guard.

Gulskii is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

It looks like Dr Dre has been cut.

Gulskii stands up and waves to Dre to follow him.

Dre shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gulskii's guard.
Gulskii manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dre manages to get himself to full guard.

Gulskii gets to his feet - Dre follows without any prompting.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
