The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honey thows a left - swing and a miss!

Honey gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Petroni to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Honey is trying to keep Petroni in close.

Petroni wants to get up but he can't break Honey's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Petroni wants to control from the top but Honey keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Petroni shoots in for a takedown but Honey shows good takedown defense.
Petroni takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Petroni misses with a few strikes there.
Honey throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Petroni connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Honey throws a right hand that Petroni ducks under and follows up with a left that Petroni also avoids with ease.
Honey bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Petroni's head.
Petroni walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Petroni takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Honey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Petroni on the side of the head.
Honey avoids the body shot from Petroni.
Honey scores with a one two! Petroni had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Honey walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Petroni drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Honey swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Petroni's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
