The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burrows closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hawkins to the mat! Hawkins manages to get full guard.
Burrows wants to pass the guard but Hawkins is keeping the position.
Burrows is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Burrows pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hawkins lands a really nice looking cross but Burrows seems unphased.
Burrows shoots in looking for a takedown. Hawkins tries to sprawl out of it but Burrows keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hawkins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Burrows shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Burrows shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hawkins manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hawkins holds on and takes a little breather.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hawkins accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Burrows is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Burrows isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hawkins stacks Burrows on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hawkins!

Sandy Hawkins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hawkins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
