Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joani Carv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zippi Duudi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zippi Duudi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duudi swats away the attempt to clinch by Carv.
A looping hook to the body misses from Carv. Duudi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Carv fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Zippi Duudi has been cut.
Carv misses with a looping left.
Carv throws out a leg kick but Duudi moves out of range and Carv only half commits.
Carv cracks a nice hook into Duudi's ribs.
Carv wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Duudi avoids the body shot from Carv.
Joani Carv seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duudi doesn't manage to clinch there - Carv circles away.
Duudi gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Carv connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Duudi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Carv looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Carv looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Carv!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Duudi fails to move to back control.

Duudi has hold of Carv's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Carv manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Carv is looking to get to half guard.
Carv blocking the ground and pound.

Duudi looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Carv is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Carv moves in looking to clinch but Duudi pushes him off.

Carv stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carv wants it to stay on the feet.
Duudi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Duudi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carv knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Carv sneaks out the side door and pushes Duudi away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

and Duudi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Carv won't be happy with that.
Carv wants to get back to his feet but Duudi drags him back down.
Carv parries the strikes from Duudi easily there. Duudi is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Carv to escape.

I would just about give that final round to Zippi Duudi.
I think Duudi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
