Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biggy Plumper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Biggy Plumper told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matthew Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Biggy Plumper!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plumper tries to clinch but Kim is having none of it.
A combination from Kim does no damage.
Biggy Plumper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Plumper has a takedown stuffed.
Kim shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kim was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Plumper is wriggling around trying to escape.

Kim has the hooks in. Plumper is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Plumper defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Kim's arms.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Plumper is trying to break free.
Plumper is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Kim gets his hands free as Plumper looks to control.
Kim is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Kim is trying to stick to Plumper's back but Plumper is turning into Kim. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kim's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Plumper.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Plumper fails with an attempt to clinch.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kim decides to pull guard.
Plumper pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kim is keeping the position for now.
Plumper postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kim is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Plumper, into his guard.
Plumper should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Plumper wants to stand up but Kim is controlling him.
Kim avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kim connects with a couple of short punches.
Kim is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Plumper is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's five minutes gone in the round.
Plumper looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Plumper seems to be working for a kimura but Kim defends the submission attempt.
Plumper working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Plumper is keen to just control but Kim is a slippery customer.
Kim is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Plumper pulls his head out easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kim gets back to full guard.
Plumper pushes down on Kim's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Plumper looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Kim is defending against the submission attempts here by Plumper.
Plumper stops Kim from getting back to his feet.
Kim preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Kim trying to hold on to Plumper's head to control him but Plumper postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kim tries to roll over but Plumper keeps him under control.
Plumper is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kim defends it well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Plumper doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kim counters with a takedown into side control.
Kim tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kim has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Plumper regains half guard.
Plumper is looking to control Kim's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Plumper avoid being mounted?
That's eight minutes gone in the round.
Plumper manages to get to full guard.
Plumper is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Plumper has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kim has passed into side control.
Plumper tries to bench press Kim off him but Kim keeps the position.
Kim decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Kim fails to land with a series of punches.
That's nine minutes gone in the round.
Plumper tries for a takedown but Kim circles away easily
and Kim counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Matthew Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Biggy Plumper.
Plumper has an active guard here but Kim has managed to pass into half guard.
Plumper is looking to improve his position.
Kim seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Plumper works his way to full guard. Good work.
Plumper had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kim is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Plumper Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kim's back instead.
Kim is trying to defend against the choke here but Plumper has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Plumper Tightens the hold and Kim taps out furiously! Plumper displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
