Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Ohlrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genichiro Tenryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ohlrich might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Biz Markie's- Just a Friend. Genichiro Tenryu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Ohlrich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Genichiro Tenryu!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tenryu gets caught flat footed, as Ohlrich shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ohlrich wants to control from the top but Tenryu keeps moving.

Tenryu has his foot on Ohlrich's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ohlrich works his way back into a safe position though.
Ohlrich slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Tenryu wants to get back to his feet.

Ohlrich tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ohlrich has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Tenryu is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ohlrich has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Tenryu takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

It looks like Genichiro Tenryu has been cut.
Tenryu takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Tenryu is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tenryu is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ohlrich connects with a decent elbow.
Tenryu is still in real trouble! Can Ohlrich finish him?

Genichiro Tenryu's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Genichiro Tenryu's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jon Ohlrich!
