The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schowkowski fails in his attempt to clinch.
Schowkowski bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Izgoev misses with a hook. Schowkowski ducked under it nicely.
Schowkowski fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Izgoev looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Izgoev swats away the attempt to clinch by Schowkowski.

Izgoev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Schowkowski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
The fight stays on the outside here - Schowkowski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Izgoev tries to land a front kick but Schowkowski steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Izgoev lands a big uppercut and Schowkowski crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Schowkowski looks OK. Izgoev waves Schowkowski back to his feet!

Schowkowski walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Izgoev swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
