Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brad Pickett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pac Quiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brad Pickett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pac Quiao!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pickett finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Pickett throws a series of punches but Quiao avoids them all with ease.
Pickett tries to clinch up but Quiao circles away and keeps his distance.
The fighters circling - Pickett throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Horrible takedown by Pickett or perhaps it was just good defense by Quiao which made him look bad.
Pickett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Quiao pinned against the cage. Quiao gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Brad Pickett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pickett is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Quiao moves out of range as Pickett strikes.

Pickett changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quiao tries to avoid it but Pickett manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quiao to the ground. Quiao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Quiao bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Quiao tests Pickett's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Pac Quiao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Quiao thows a left - swing and a miss!
Quiao throws a right and a left that Pickett avoids nicely.

and Quiao counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Pickett is breathing heavily.
Quiao slips a jab from Pickett.
Quiao misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Quiao scores with a nice head shot.
Pickett shoots in but Quiao avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Quiao throws a right hand that Pickett ducks under and follows up with a left that Pickett also avoids with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice combination there by Quiao.
Pickett throws the left hand but Quiao avoids the punch easily.
Quiao lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Pickett throws a left and a right that both miss
and Quiao counters with a nice uppercut.
Pickett is rocked!
Quiao drops Pickett with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Pickett! Quiao dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
