Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between jb benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nano Sungia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

benn shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Sungia tries to kick benn off but benn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
benn working over Sungia with some ground and pound. Sungia looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Sungia is not content to let benn control the position.

Sungia is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sungia has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. benn is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sungia.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sungia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close second round but I would say that jb benn will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
