Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert marques!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grzyb gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Grzyb is trying to keep marques in close.
marques trying to control the position from guard on top but Grzyb is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Grzyb is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Grzyb looking for a sweep. Not yet Grzyb, not yet.
Grzyb controlling marques's posture.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Grzyb is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Grzyb trying to pass the guard but marques defending well.
Grzyb is trying to control. marques wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
marques wants to control but Grzyb is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Grzyb is looking to take a break and control but marques is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
marques wants to get back to full guard.
Grzyb seems to be working for a kimura but marques defends the submission attempt.

Grzyb wants to take a breather but marques is having none of it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
marques avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Grzyb delivers a nice body kick.
marques looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
marques closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - marques lands in his opponent's guard.
marques stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grzyb swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Grzyb keeping moving, preventing marques from controlling successfully.

marques trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Grzyb manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Grzyb trying to control the position from guard on top but marques is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Grzyb tries to free his leg and advance position but marques is retaining full guard.
Grzyb won't allow marques to sweep him here.
Grzyb prevents marques from getting back to his feet.
marques looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
marques tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

marques takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Robert marques has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Grzyb thows a body kick. marques tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Grzyb lands with a slapping head kick.
Grzyb with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Whack! Grzyb lands a heavy head kick that drops marques. The ref tackles Grzyb to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because marques was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Eugeniusz Grzyb!
