The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finkle avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cole slips a jab and a cross from Finkle.
Finkle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cole.

Cole is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Cole knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Finkle on the ground.

Finkle goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cole is on top in guard.

Cole is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

A decent looking cross lands there for Cole.
Finkle moves forwards but Cole connects with a nice, crisp jab.

That has opened up Vadim Finkle's cut even more.

and Cole counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Finkle is breathing heavily.
A punch lands to the side of Finkle 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Cole displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Finkle.

Cole thows a body shot but no joy.
Cole connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Finkle is rocked!

The cut above Vadim Finkle's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Cole wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Cole smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Cole takes a swing at Finkle's ribcage but misses.
Augustus Cole is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Good shot there by Cole.
Finkle is still on wobbly legs! Can Cole finish him?
Vadim Finkle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Vadim Finkle's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
