Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Pendridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Pendridge has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Beast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Pendridge!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pendridge wants to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pendridge looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Beast fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Pendridge checks it well.
Beast dodges the punch combination from Pendridge.
Pendridge is looking to clinch but Beast is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pendridge shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Beast as he avoids it easily.

Pendridge stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pendridge wants it to stay on the feet.

Pendridge shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Beast manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Pendridge throws and elbow that misses. Beast uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pendridge's guard. Nice move by Beast!

Pendridge is fighting off a takedown attempt but Beast is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pendridge to the mat. Pendridge regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Pendridge takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Beast feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A close third round but Luke Pendridge just about did enough to take it.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Pendridge seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beast does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Pendridge is pressing down on Beast's thigh, looking to free his foot. Beast is holding on for now.

Beast is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

enabling Beast to counter with a crisp jab.
Beast connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pendridge momentarily.

Beast cracks Pendridge with a big right hand but Pendridge just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Beast creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pendridge sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Luke Pendridge is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Beast tries to score with some ground and pound. Pendridge controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Marcus Beast showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Pendridge has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
