Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wayne Banner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lincon James!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner circles away from the clinch attempt.

Banner shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. James is trying to defend but Banner finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

James is squirming around, avoiding Banner's attempts to control the action.

Banner is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, James has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Banner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but James paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

James is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Banner has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. James is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Banner is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. James gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Lincon James has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Lincon James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Banner has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
