Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heinonen scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Dent wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Heinonen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dent, who protects the arm well.
Dent pushes Heinonen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Heinonen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Heinonen swings around for an armbar but Dent sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Heinonen's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Heinonen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dent is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Heinonen.
Heinonen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dent. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dent decides to stand back up.

Dent goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Heinonen dives in and grabs Dent's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dent pushes down on Heinonen's head and hops out.

Dent drives through and clinches with Heinonen against the ropes.
Heinonen tries for a takedown but Dent manages to get underhooks.

Dent escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dent closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dent looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Heinonen looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Heinonen looks gassed!

Dent seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Heinonen is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
