PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saku Vuorinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minotauro Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vuorinen comes into the arena with Rob Zombie - Dragula blaring out of the sound system. Nogueira is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vuorinen lands with a nice combination. Nogueira backs away looking to recover.
Vuorinen throws a lazy right hand but Nogueira sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Vuorinen misses with a series of wild punches.
Nogueira shoots in looking for a takedown. Vuorinen tries to sprawl out of it but Nogueira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Vuorinen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nogueira walks into a stiff left hand from Vuorinen.

Nogueira shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nogueira was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vuorinen is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Vuorinen tries to buck Nogueira off but he can't manage it.
Vuorinen is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Nogueira has taken his back!

Nogueira looking to break Vuorinen's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Vuorinen remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Nogueira will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Nogueira is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Vuorinen has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Nogueira is working for a rear naked choke. Vuorinen is not defending it well and Nogueira has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Vuorinen refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Vuorinen's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
