Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Angelo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ramon Silva!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Angelo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Silva is on top in guard.

Angelo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Silva closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Silva lands in his opponent's guard.

Angelo is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.

Angelo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Angelo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Angelo won't allow Silva to sweep him here.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Angelo has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Silva. Oh but Angelo has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Silva goes limp - he's gone! Angelo jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
