The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Menor.
A thudding body kick lands there by Scholz!
Menor really is a fat lump.
Menor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Menor throws a right hand that Scholz ducks under and follows up with a left that Scholz also avoids with ease.
Scholz scores with a spinning back kick!
Menor is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scholz lands a left and a right that send Menor crashing to the mat, dazed. Scholz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Mel Menor has been cut.
Scholz instigates a clinch.
Scholz pushes Menor back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Scholz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Scholz lands a left and a right that send Menor crashing to the mat, dazed. Scholz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Menor is rocked!
A head kick by Scholz - that's a beauty! Menor is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Scholz can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
