and Goulet counters with a stiff right hand.

Goulet is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Abaddon's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Goulet slips a nice elbow through Abaddon's hands, connecting with Abaddon's forehead.
Abaddon wants to control but Goulet is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Goulet is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Abaddon defends it well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Abaddon throws a sloppy head kick and Goulet moves out of range easily.

It looks like Jonh Goulet has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
