Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Alot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Tiera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alot comes to the cage accompanied by Ether. Tiera is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Judas Priest - Turbo Lover. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiera shoots in for a double leg but Alot sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Alot throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tiera wants to clinch up but Alot keeps it at a distance.
Tiera throws out a loose jab but Alot uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tiera tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alot paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tiera looks to land a left hand but Alot moved out of range nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tiera is looking to clinch but Alot is avoiding it.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alot accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tiera moves in looking to clinch but Alot pushes him off.

Tiera tries to clinch up but Alot circles away and keeps his distance.

and Tiera counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Tiera is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Tiera is nestled in close to Alot, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Tiera is taking a breather. Alot says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Frank Tiera showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Tiera has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
