PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sexy Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Gentleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beast comes into the arena with Ludacris - Get Back blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gentleman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Beast.
Gentleman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Beast feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Beast trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Gentleman wants to control but Beast passes easily into half guard.
Beast slips a nice elbow through Gentleman's hands, connecting with Gentleman's forehead.
Gentleman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Beast thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gentleman's head.
Beast winds up and cracks Gentleman with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Beast has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Beast lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gentleman can do anything to dispel that myth.

Gentleman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Beast is working away from the top position though.

Beast is looking to take a break and control but Gentleman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Beast uses his free foot to push down on Gentleman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gentleman.
Poor strikes thrown by Beast there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Beast can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gentleman is looking to escape.

Gentleman is desperately trying to improve his position but Beast has a good base and remains in mount.

It looks like Jack Gentleman has been cut.
Beast will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beast postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Gentleman badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Beast around the waist but Beast pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Beast is the winner by TKO! Beast jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
